The first impulse that initiated this work had been rather intuitive, however the final work is prevailed by very systematic approach. I address the medium of photography as such and a very important constituent is the presence of the analog process. This photo series honors and glorifies this forgotten mechanism and retrieves and rehabilitates this formerly standardly used studio photography procedure - reproduction. By capturing this recorded material on film I create a new layer of this material and I am becoming its author. I look back with nostalgia at the visuality of educational publications and at encyclopedic iconography.
